Located on the shores of Moreton Bay, Shorncliffe is just over 20 kilometres north-east of Brisbane’s CBD.
The Shorncliffe railway station is the last on its line and has a relatively short commute time of 35 minutes into the city.
Residents are well catered for with Shorncliffe State Primary School and St Patrick’s College for boys. There are a number of other primary and secondary schools in the surrounding suburbs including the North Point Institute of TAFE in Bracken Ridge.
The nearby Sandgate Village shopping precinct along Brighton Road services the retail needs of the community.
There are plenty of dining options in and around Shorncliffe so if you are looking for a café, pub or restaurant, you’ll find it here. There are fish and chip shops dotted along the foreshore so you can enjoy take-away by the beach with seagulls squawking in the salty breeze.
